COVID CAPSULE OF LOCKDOWN

Around 80% of the world’s population has recovered Covid-19 without any hospital treatment. The symptoms in the cases are seen to be mild, such as slight cough or mild fever, self-isolation at home was recommended by WHO. The guidelines of the bulletin also revealed that there is no need to admit the patients with mild symptoms and for that “requisite” facilities are available at their residence. The vaccine’s probability to be found is less as of now; therefore social distancing is the only key way to avoid the extension of the disease.

INDIA

India is going through the biggest lockdown which is scheduled in the last week of March. Insofar, the rate of infection rose to 10.8 days from 4 this month. At the same time, the cases went from 20,000 to 30,000 in 7 days within a blink. Gratefully, the growth isn’t too much, but even the slight increase in number is a threat to many.

Everything has come to a pause, be it schools or weddings or funerals, etc. in this situation, the standard procedure for home isolation, should be configured fast. This will further help in the reduction of the burden from the health system. The Aarogya Setu App is found to be useful, as it can draw out a rough idea about the nearby regions that have COVID cases. Today, the government has to take the citizens along whenever any decision is to be made.

Calculating how the infection will continue to spread after the lockdown, India is aiming for the self-reliant capability of One Lakh tests per day by the end of next month. Tracking new infections (COVID-19) require another strong strategy; where loosening and tightening the containment in different zones is required. Everyone should simply follow the rules of social distancing and should be humane enough to stay safely at home.
